Ten years is a lot of time, and through out it I have gone through a lot of changes. I go to UIC. I live in a small apartment I'm renting. I have a pet goldfish named Goldie the Second, in honor of the goldfish I had when I was ten. I also have a French pug named Zoey. My friend Maria gives them check ups. She is a great veterinarian! I am officially trilingual. Ever since most of my cousins moved to France I was forced to speak French when I visited them.
Even though life has changed so much I will never forget the things I learned at Gurrie. I still recall a couple of nights when I fell a sleep way past my bed time because I procrastinated and left a project until the last minute. I have learned my lesson. I still remember my teacher Ms. Campbell. She taught me not to try to apply logic to things that are completely illogical. The last thing I learned is to keep things in order. It is not a good thing if you are able to get lost in your locker!
You would think people would run out of things to invent but apparently not. My friends Kasey, Mellissa, and Hayley have made a video game that you can walk into. It is awesome! Anna, the person with the best workout show on TV, has invented a new juicer. It can ground up iron and put it in your juice to put more iron in your diet. NASA has created a rocket that can get to Pluto. I heard some of the people from Gurrie were on it. What will humans invent next?
Right know I am on my way to Gurrie. I got invited to a school reunion. I can’t wait to see all my friends and classmates. Kasey is not only a game designer but also Owl City’s new manager and part time interior decorator! I also really want to hear Joey’s band play. A little birdie told me that the people that went to Pluto brought back space rocks. I can’t wait!
